I’m Julian (Peter) Williams. I started writing in my teens, providing short news articles to local newspapers. At the same time I developed my own ideas, convinced that at some point in the future I’d be proficient enough to write them up.
I guess I’ve reached that point.
Over recent years I’ve featured highly in short screenwriting competitions, completed a first draft of my first feature film script, submitted my first theatre play and seen one short film script attract interest from a recognised director.
Of course, this is only the beginning.
I’m currently working on a second radio play with a feature film script from the box of ideas lined up to write next. After that, I’m determined to finish a book that is three quarters done, again from the box.
What have I learnt so far?
That writing is easy to do yet tough to perfect. Positively, the more I write the more I learn and the better I get. And the better I get, the higher I’ll raise my personal bar.
An exciting yet challenging plan. Gulp.
